A cerebral conundrum of mixed media, consisting of a 1920’s water level mounted on a painted sheet of Masonite.
The water level and the frame are not parallel to one another….hence, when the water level is level, the frame is not. If the frame is level, the water level is not. Which is more important? Spend endless hours trying to adjust this one until it looks right. Not recommended for people with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder.
Materials: Masonite, acrylic paint, teak. Vintage, stuccoed and gilded wood frame.
Dimensions: H:126cm W:165cm
